Strictly no beginners. All riders must provide their own riding gear including Body protectors. (current safety standards apply)
Each sample package can always be adapted to meet each riders needs and we can always tailor make a package for your dream cross-country jumping holiday! Don't be afraid to tell us exactly what you want so we can meet your expectations.
Please note that all packages and times are approximate and could be subject to slight change depending on weather conditions etc. Clients are advised to have their own insurance policy and also note their agent's cancellation policy. Cross-country jumping during winter season (October to March) is usually on the all-weather surface.
Arrive Thursday noon, ride out at 1:00pm to approximately 3:00pm to include hack out assessment and cross country jumping.
Friday 10.00 am to 11.45am cross country jumping training followed by lunch break then, from 1.00 pm to approximately 3:00 pm cross country training.
Saturday 10.00 am to 11.45 am cross country training then lunch break followed by cross country training from 1.00pm to approximately 3:00pm.
Sunday morning full cross country ride from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.

Teenager OR adult educational camps, ( minimum 6 in a group , teenager groups must have a caretaker adult leader/guide with them who will be riding fees free (pay for accommodation only )
This programme is 6 days riding and 7 nights full board casual accommodation in Flowerhill house with the majority of the food served organically produced here in our kitchen garden.
Flowerhill house was built during the late 17 th century, all rooms are en-suite. The accommodation is casual with “old style living “.
Saturday arrival and settle into your accommodation.
Daily ride outs are 10am to 12 noon , break for lunch at 12/15 , then afternoon ride out from 1/30 to 3/15
Dinner is served daily at 6pm, occasionally we have longer or an extra afternoon ride out.
We will select different riding activities each day to include hacking , xc jumping (approximately 80 optional jumps per day) , showjumping, and fun ride outs in the woods. ( weather permitting)
Sunday morning introductory discussion to include safety protocols and programme planning for the week.
Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon assessment and ride our to include viewing the xc course and grounds - then 1/30 to 3/15 pm ride out.
All of the remaining days of the week will be of similar riding times and including different activities- Extra recreational activities will be organised most afternoons after riding (Approx 3:30pm to 4:30 pm , these may include a mixture of for example, stable management OR Portumna heritage tour OR afternoon hacking out on ponies or cobs exploring Flowerhill woods and biodiversity and heritage areas OR optional visit to the local 🚗karting centre (at an added + € extra to participants).
A visit to Galway city can be arranged midweek instead of the afternoon ride out, bus fares are at an extra + rate of approximately €15per person.
Private 10 seater bus from Dublin airport direct to Flowerhill costs approximately €570 gross (one way )

REGULAR XC/HUNT WEEKEND
Wednesday eve to Sunday afternoon 4 days riding (including one day’s hunting) and 4 nights accommodation

This programme includes 4 nights accommodation in the “Oak Lodge guest house" which is situated in a nice small town called PORTUMNA, the rate includes bed and breakfast and a packed lunch, which clients have after the morning xc ride in Flowerhill, tea/coffee etc all available free of charge in Flowerhill, evening meals are at an added extra to themselves. There are many nice restaurants and pubs just walking distance from the oak lodge guest house.
If clients don’t have a car then we can arrange transport too and from the accommodation. (We can also arrange guidance or and a few car seats for “foot hunt followers”
Clients will be riding all different horses etc during your stay in Flowerhill .

⭐️SATURDAY 11 am to 4pm (approx) meet HUNTING with one of the available hunt clubs , more likely “ The Galway Blazers or “The Grallagh Harriers “

xc /incuding with our own EQ club hounds throughout Flowerhill estate and local farmland area with optional “man made obstacles”
Clients /riders must have their own insurance, copy of which must be accompanied with your booking.
