Sample Packages
Each sample package can always be adapted to meet each riders needs and we can always tailor make a package for your dream cross-country jumping holiday! Don't be afraid to tell us exactly what you want so we can meet your expectations.
Please note that all packages and times are approximate and could be subject to slight change depending on weather conditions etc. Clients are advised to have their own insurance policy and also note their agent's cancellation policy. Cross-country jumping during winter season (October to March) is usually on the all-weather surface.
Cross-country packages
Regular Weekend package, approx 11hrs riding, (staying three nights, Thursday noon until Sunday lunchtime)
Arrive Thursday noon - 1.30 hour hack out assessment and cross country jumping.
Friday 10.00 am to 11.45am cross country jumping training followed by lunch break then, from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm cross country training.
Saturday 10.00 am to 11.45 am cross country training then lunch break followed by cross country training from 1.30 pm to 3.15pm.
Sunday morning full cross country ride from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Total gross price €900.00 p., staying in Oak Lodge Guesthouse (+€10.00 per night p.P. single supp)
OR
Total gross price €780.00 p.P, staying in Flowerhill House, basic self catering (+€10.00 per night p.P. single supp)
Extended weekend package, approx 14hrs riding, (staying four nights, Wednesday evening until Sunday lunchtime)
Arrive Wednesday lunchtime, 1hr30 min hack out assessment and cross-country jumping.
Thursday 10.00 am until 11.45 am cross-country jumping followed by a lunch break then from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm cross country training.
Friday 10.00 am to 11.45 am cross country jumping followed by lunch break, then from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm cross country training.
Saturday 10.00 am to 11.45 am cross country training then lunch break followed by cross country training from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm.

Week long package approx 21hrs riding, (6 full days riding and seven nights B&B accommodation, Saturday evening until Saturday morning)

this programme includes approx 3.5+ hours per day (10.00 am to 11.45 am followed by lunch break, then from 1.30 pm to 3.15 pm) of xc training , showjumping lesson x2 , xc riding out including hound exercising , riding 2 different irish sport horses, cobs or ponies per day.
For groups of 5+ we can arrange a cross country schooling event at the end of your holiday. ( we will have a set course marked and numbered, clients can pre walk the course the evening before and participate in either singles and or pairs.)

Teenager group package (for 12 to 16 years)
To include 6 days riding with 7 nights full board accommodation. Groups or club groups must have their OWN ADULT CARETAKER (who will go free of charge), giving a minimum of 6 students.
Arrive Monday afternoon/evening - clients can come to Flowerhill and walk about and see the cross country course and horses if they like.
Riding times each day are - 10.00 am to 12.00 noon then break for lunch - afternoon riding 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm (on a different horse) The daily program will include the following: show jumping, cross country training, trekking, riding out during "hound exercise" etc - the daily riding schedule of activities will be decided by your own trainer - times are approximate and could be subject to slight change re weather conditions etc ).
The accommodation is full board and sharing.

NOTE -- accommodation can be on site in Flowerhill House or at the Oak Lodge Guesthouse Portumna which is 8 min from Flowerhill riding centre - we organise transfers to and from accommodation each day - Groups are ideally up to 8 riders (gives more personal attention) Groups of 6 or more are eligible to bring a group leader/ care taker free of charge for Teenager group package only. Groups may or can be split up according to ability -- clients are advised to have their own insurance- also note agents cancellation policy.
